This is a traditional Aari embroidered elephant motif. I have used water fill stitch with gold Aari thread for filling the elephant body portion. French knots for the decorative cloth on the elephant body. The outer ring is decorated with beads and stone chain and also with coloured half beads. Half beads are fixed with glue.
The elephant design pattu pavadai is also stitched. I have made it neat and simple. And also a long sleeve with round buttas on it. Back portion is the highlight of this dress😍. I have made a open on the back neck and the open is decorated with beads and stones. Those three latkans are handmade to suit the pavadai top👍
